Many of the car manufacturers have led people to believe that spark plugs, fuel filters and other fuel and injection items will last 100,000 miles. What they do not tell you is that this is only under ideal conditions. A worn spark plug takes more to fire than a new one, making items like ignition coils and modules work harder thus shortening the life of many parts. Fuel filters, pcv valves and air filters should all be serviced at certain intervals. We also scan your vehicle when performing a tune up making sure the many sensors and electrical items are functioning correctly. A tune up many times does not fix a preexisting problem but it sure can prevent some.
