Timing Belts
Most of today’s vehicles have timing belts. The manufacturer has certain intervals that they recommend replacement. This should be followed and many times is addressed in a 30, 60, or 90K service. If the timing belt breaks it may damage the engine to the point where it may bend the valves and would require the removal of the cylinder head to have a valve job performed. Even worse it could ruin the engine. These are very expensive repairs so follow the maintenance schedule the manufacturer has put forth. That way you can be assured you will not be broken down on the side of the road with a broken timing belt, and then get to call one of our tow trucks to come and rescue you.
